Florida
I realized a couple of things about this blog:
1. Nobody reads it (which is fine).
2. It's a great journaling tool that allows me to remember details of my travels.
So, you can say that I am blogging for myself. I always wrote that way, so, no changes really.
Now, this is a week+ long trip to Palm Beach, Florida. Woohoo? Sure. Going to visit with my brother's family, relax, and play some golf. LOTS of golf, I hope. We'll see how the baggage manglers treat my clubs. I have to think that there's some blue collar anti-golf sentiment on the belt and that the clubs will get extra rough treatment from the "take that, yuppie scum!" crowd.
Flying Delta, transfer in Atlanta, get in around 10pm. It's be a long day of travel. One piece of luck is that the long-term parking was full at SFO, so they let me park in the hourly lot for the same price. I got a space right next to the elevator. Perfect!
My electronics are all juiced up and ready to go: DS Lite, GPS Navigation, Wifi tablet, Mobile Broadband to WiFi router (battery powered!), notebook, and of course, cell. I debated bringing my Wii to play with the kids, but...I think I'll just try and read by the pool.
Time to pack up and board. More later.
